Blizzard is categorised as a Standard weather event in Grow a Garden 2. It is part of the rotating server-wide weather system, where each event applies a temporary rule to the garden — usually a chance to apply one or more mutations to ripe crops.

Weather events in Grow a Garden 2 rotate server-wide; the exact trigger conditions for Blizzard are not individually documented in our sources. Watch the in-game sky indicator or the weather broadcast.

While Blizzard is active, ripe crops have a chance to roll one of the following mutations:

Weather mutations stack additively with each other, so if two weather events happen to overlap, the roll value compounds. See the mutation system explainer for the full stacking formula.

The optimal play during a Blizzard window is to have high-value multi-harvest crops ripe on the plot when the event starts, so the mutation roll has the widest possible target set. Crops with a high base sell value benefit most from a multiplier roll; cheap crops gain little.
